Ceramix-Nano LumiCera Crown Resin Capsule (3 Pack)

Shining 3D LumiCera is a ceramic-filled restorative material developed specifically for the Shining 3D Ceramix-Nano chairside 3D printing system. Designed for permanent restorative dentistry, LumiCera combines a high ceramic filler content with a convenient capsule-based workflow, simplifying the production of ceramic-filled restorations while eliminating many of the preparation steps associated with traditional dental 3D printing.

Unlike conventional bottle-based printing resins, LumiCera is supplied in pre-filled, single-use capsules. Each capsule contains a precisely measured quantity of material and is automatically recognised by the Ceramix-Nano using an integrated QR code. The printer identifies the material, configures the appropriate print settings, mixes the capsule internally and prepares it for printing automatically, eliminating manual pouring, mixing or priming.

LumiCera has been developed for the fabrication of permanent crowns, bridges of up to three units, veneers, inlays and onlays. A single capsule can produce up to three restorations, depending on the size and design of each case, making it an efficient option for chairside restorative workflows.

Containing more than 55% ceramic filler, LumiCera is engineered to deliver the strength and wear resistance required for definitive restorations. It has received FDA Class II 510(k) clearance for permanent intraoral restorations in the United States and offers a flexural strength of 200 MPa, positioning it as a true permanent restorative material rather than a provisional or temporary solution.

LumiCera is initially available in Low Translucency (LT) and is offered in five VITA shades:

• A1
• A2
• B1
• C2

Shining 3D has also confirmed that Medium Translucency (MT) and High Translucency (HT) versions are currently in development to expand aesthetic treatment options.

As part of the Shining Flow ecosystem, every capsule purchased within the first year of Ceramix-Nano activation includes sufficient AI design credits for one three-unit bridge design, helping clinicians take advantage of Shining 3D's integrated cloud-based AI restorative workflow. After the introductory period, AI design services remain available through the standard subscription model.

Each retail box contains three LumiCera capsules, providing a clean, efficient and highly repeatable restorative workflow without the mess of traditional resin handling.

Compatibility

LumiCera is designed exclusively for the Shining 3D Ceramix-Nano and is not compatible with other dental 3D printers.
