Product details
Description
exocad DentalCAD is a comprehensive dental CAD software platform widely recognised as one of the world's leading solutions for digital restorative dentistry. Designed for both dental clinics and laboratories, it provides powerful tools for designing crowns, bridges, veneers, inlays, onlays, implant-supported restorations, complete and partial dentures, bite splints and orthodontic appliances with exceptional flexibility, speed and precision.
Built on an open architecture, exocad DentalCAD integrates with a wide range of intraoral scanners, laboratory scanners, milling machines and 3D printers, allowing you to create a digital workflow without being locked into a single manufacturer. Whether you're restoring a single crown or producing complex implant restorations and removable prosthetics, exocad is designed to integrate seamlessly into your existing workflow.
One of exocad's greatest strengths is its modular architecture. Rather than paying for features you may never use, you can build the software around your workflow and expand functionality over time. Optional modules are available for implant-supported restorations, smile design, printable model creation, complete and partial dentures, bite splints, virtual articulation, jaw motion simulation, bar design, orthodontics and many other advanced workflows.
Key capabilities include the design of crowns, bridges, veneers, inlays, onlays, custom implant abutments, screw-retained restorations, implant bridges, complete dentures, partial dentures, bite splints and orthodontic appliances. Advanced digital smile design, printable model generation and virtual articulation tools further enhance restorative planning and manufacturing workflows.
Please note: The Implant Module within exocad DentalCAD is designed for creating implant-supported restorations such as custom abutments, crowns and bridges after implant planning has been completed. If your goal is to virtually plan implant placement using CBCT scans or design surgical guides for guided implant surgery, you will require exoplan, exocad's dedicated implant planning software.
Requires Windows 10 or newer, 16 GB RAM recommended, a dedicated graphics card with OpenGL support and an internet connection for software activation, updates and licence validation.
Licensing & Configuration Options
exocad DentalCAD is available in both Perpetual and Flex licensing options, allowing you to choose the purchasing model that best suits your practice, laboratory and budget.
Perpetual Licence
A Perpetual Licence is a one-time software purchase that allows you to own and continue using your purchased version of exocad indefinitely. There are no mandatory annual subscription fees. If you wish to receive future software releases, new features and ongoing updates, you can optionally purchase an Annual Upgrade Contract (AUC).
Available Perpetual Editions (USD RRP):
- Core – USD $5,950
- Advanced Bundle – USD $6,790
- Implant Bundle – USD $8,780
- Ultimate Bundle – USD $13,290
Flex Subscription
Flex offers a lower upfront investment by spreading software costs over an annual subscription. It provides access to the latest exocad software version for as long as your subscription remains active, making it an excellent option for practices looking to minimise their initial investment.
Available Flex Editions (USD RRP):
- Core – USD $3,530 (then USD $1,160/year)
- Advanced Bundle – USD $3,940 (then USD $1,650/year)
- Implant Bundle – USD $4,630 (then USD $2,440/year)
- Ultimate Bundle – USD $6,820 (then USD $3,750/year)
Which Licence Is Right For Me?
For most established dental laboratories and busy clinics, a Perpetual Licence offers the greatest long-term value because you own the software outright and can continue using it indefinitely. An Annual Upgrade Contract is entirely optional and only required if you wish to receive future software updates and major version releases.
A Flex Subscription is ideal for practices wanting a lower upfront investment, predictable annual costs and continuous access to the latest exocad software without purchasing a perpetual licence.
Multiple editions and software bundles are available to suit different workflows, from everyday restorative dentistry through to advanced implant, removable prosthetic and full-arch solutions. Additional modules can also be added at any time as your clinical or laboratory requirements evolve.
Popular optional modules include:
- Implant Module
- Smile Creator
- Model Creator
- PartialCAD
- Full Denture
- Bite Splint Module
- Virtual Articulator
- Jaw Motion
- Bar Module
- TruSmile
- Provisional Module
- DICOM Viewer
- Additional tooth libraries and workflow tools
The software configurations listed on our website represent the most popular exocad packages. Additional modules, upgrades, Annual Upgrade Contracts, licence transfers, trade-up options and customised software configurations are also available.
