Description
The Medit i700 Wired is a mid-to-premium intraoral scanner from Medit and the successor to the Red Dot award-winning i500. It captures full-colour 3D scans using Medit's 3D in-motion video technology at up to 70 fps, with a reported full-arch accuracy of 10.9 µm.
At 245g, the i700 is 25% more compact and 12% lighter than earlier Medit models. It connects via a single USB-C cable directly to a PC with no hub, no external power, and no calibration required.
Clinical features include UV-C LED in-scanner disinfection, a 180-degree reversible tip for access in posterior and narrow oral cavities, and a remote control button for navigating the scan workflow directly from the handpiece. The scan area is 15 x 13mm.
The i700 Wired operates within Medit's open software ecosystem via Medit Link and Medit Scan for Clinics. Compatible with all major CAD/CAM platforms. No subscription fees. The i700 Wireless is also available for practices requiring cable-free operation.
