The Medit iE brings the same scanning technology and performance as the Medit i900 Classic to a more accessible price point. Designed for everyday digital dentistry, it combines high-quality full-color scanning with a lightweight, ergonomic design and simple one-button operation.
Weighing 165g, the Medit iE features Medit's third-generation optical engine, a large 18 × 15 mm field of view, and a streamlined unibody design. Its light grey finish, physical scan button, and LED status indicator provide a straightforward scanning experience, while fast preheating helps minimize waiting time.
Simple Scan, Review, Send Workflow
The Medit iE is designed to make digital impressions as simple as possible. Connect the scanner, capture the patient's dentition, review the scan data, and send the case directly to your dental laboratory using Medit Link.
Everything required for everyday scanning and laboratory communication is included from the beginning, without mandatory subscription fees for core scanning and case management.
Same Scanning Performance as the i900 Classic
The Medit iE shares the same hardware and scanning engine as the i900 Classic, delivering the same scanning performance at a more accessible price.
The primary differences are in software functionality. Advanced features such as Realtime Intelligence are available as optional purchases, while Medit SmartX for All-on-X workflows, Medit Link Express, Smart Shade Guide, and Air Mouse are not supported on the iE.
Medit's Essential App Bundle and Model Builder are available as paid options for new Medit users. Existing Medit scanner owners adding an iE to their Medit Link account retain their existing app access without additional charges.
Open and Expandable Medit Ecosystem
The iE integrates with Medit Link, Medit's cloud-based platform for case management, laboratory communication, and digital workflow integration.
As your practice develops, additional Medit software can be purchased to expand your digital capabilities. For clinicians requiring more advanced workflows, the i900 series offers additional software functionality within the same Medit ecosystem.
