Description
The Alliedstar Sensa is Alliedstar's current flagship intraoral scanner, launched at IDS 2025 and representing a complete redesign of the company's scanner line. Backed by Straumann Group's acquisition of Alliedstar in 2023, the Sensa marks a clear shift from Alliedstar's budget-oriented early products towards a premium market position.
The Sensa features an ergonomic, tubular body with a modern aesthetic, continuing Alliedstar's dual-sided button design that allows operation regardless of hand orientation. Unlike previous Alliedstar models, the Sensa integrates a non-removable battery with over 3 hours of continuous use on a single charge and fast-charge capability — 3 minutes of charging is sufficient to complete a 7-minute scan. The scanner ships with five autoclavable tips in a single universal size, rated to 180 autoclave cycles, eliminating separate small and standard tips.
The scanner's core scanning engine and software platform carry forward from previous Alliedstar models. Files export in STL, PLY, and OBJ formats.
