The Asiga Cure is a post-curing system designed for resin-based 3D printed parts, with particular relevance to dental and medical workflows.
Unlike conventional time-based curing units, the Cure uses intelligent dose curing, with internal light sensors measuring the amount of light delivered to objects within the chamber. This allows the system to control curing based on delivered energy rather than relying on time alone.
The system combines UV LED curing, vacuum processing and infrared heating up to 80°C. Vacuum curing reduces oxygen within the chamber to minimise oxygen inhibition at the surface of printed parts. External inert gas, including nitrogen, can also be connected when required by a specific material workflow.
Pre-programmed curing profiles are available for validated materials, while custom profiles can be created and saved directly through the Cure interface.
Available in 1.5 L and 2.5 L chamber sizes, the Asiga Cure is suitable for dental clinics and laboratories looking for a controlled and repeatable approach to post-processing.
Applications
The Asiga Cure can be incorporated into post-processing workflows for compatible 3D printed dental applications, including:
- Dental models
- Surgical guides
- Splints and occlusal appliances
- Dentures and denture components
- Temporary and permanent restorative materials
- Other compatible dental and medical resin applications
Always follow the resin manufacturer's validated post-processing protocol for the specific material and indication.
