Direct IP

The Alliedstar Direct IP Kit is a digital implant workflow solution that enables accurate full-arch implant scanning using compatible Alliedstar intraoral scanners and Direct IP scan bodies. By integrating high accuracy scanning principles directly into the scanning workflow, the system captures implant positions without requiring a separate photogrammetry device, simplifying digital full-arch workflows for clinicians.

Unlike traditional photogrammetry systems that require dedicated hardware, the Direct IP Kit enables clinicians to capture implant positions with their compatible Alliedstar scanner. This reduces equipment requirements while maintaining a streamlined digital workflow from scanning through to prosthetic design.

The Direct IP workflow is designed for full-arch implant cases, accurately recording the position and orientation of multiple implants for restorative treatment planning and CAD design. The resulting data can be exported for use with compatible CAD software, including exocad and other digital restorative platforms, supporting the design of implant-supported prostheses.

The Direct IP Kit integrates seamlessly into existing digital workflows, allowing clinicians to combine intraoral scanning with implant position capture in a single appointment. This can improve efficiency while reducing the complexity associated with conventional implant impression techniques.

Scanner Compatibility

The Alliedstar Direct IP Kit is designed for use with compatible Alliedstar intraoral scanners only. Compatible with AS 260 and AS Sensa scanners.
