Description
The Medit i600 is Medit's entry-level intraoral scanner, introduced in 2022. It shares the same full-arch accuracy specification of 10.9 µm and the same 245g weight as the i700, making it one of the strongest value propositions in the entry-level scanner market.
Scanning speed reaches up to 35 fps. The scan area is 15 x 13mm, the same as the i700. The scanner uses Medit's adaptive anti-fogging technology, a 180-degree reversible tip, and a single USB-C plug-and-scan connection with no hub or calibration required. Tip autoclave cycle limit is 100.
The i600 runs on Medit Scan for Clinics, which includes AI-powered smart scan filtering to remove soft tissue interference (lips, tongue, cheeks), smart colour filtering, and a real-time scan guide. These features reduce the learning curve for new users.
The Medit open software ecosystem, including Medit Link, is fully open and free to use with no ongoing subscription. Compatible with all major CAD/CAM platforms.
