TruAbutment T-Marker

The TruAbutment T-Marker is an innovative mobile photogrammetry system that uses compatible iPad Pro and iPhone Pro devices to capture the three-dimensional positions of multi-unit abutments (MUAs) for full-arch implant workflows. By combining proprietary T-Marker components with the TruAbutment mobile application, clinicians can perform photogrammetry without the need for dedicated photogrammetry hardware, calibration devices or complex setup procedures.

Designed specifically for full-arch implant dentistry, T-Marker provides an efficient digital workflow for accurately recording implant positions before restorative design. The resulting STL file can be integrated into open CAD workflows and combined with soft tissue scans from an intraoral scanner for the design of implant-supported prostheses.

Unlike traditional photogrammetry systems that often require dedicated cameras costing tens of thousands of dollars, T-Marker leverages the processing power and camera system of compatible Apple devices to provide a portable and accessible alternative. No calibration, cables or specialised hardware setup are required, making the workflow straightforward and easy to incorporate into everyday clinical practice.

T-Marker is compatible with supported implant systems including All-on-T (AOT), URIS, and selected Straumann workflows, with hardware kits available for each platform. The accompanying T-Marker application is available through the Apple App Store and operates on a subscription model that includes unlimited STL exports with no per-case fees.

Please note: T-Marker is designed specifically for implant photogrammetry and does not replace a conventional intraoral scanner. Soft tissue, dentition and opposing arch scans should still be captured using a compatible intraoral scanner as part of a complete digital implant workflow.
